SOUND IN BODY
'A DAY WORKSHOP FOR ADVANCED CELLISTS'

Are you a college student in need of a warm-up day for the start of term, or someone who would like an opportunity to develop your qualities of tone production?
Working with the principle that our body is the first instrument when we play, we will explore how to create a resonant and free sound by releasing tension in our bodies.
Exploring the Alexander Technique as a means of embodied presence, we will discover ways to enhance our tone production as we find more physical freedom in ourselves. No previous Alexander Technique experience is required.
In addition, Dale and Patrick are both available for individual sessions on Monday 16th September at their home in Whaley Bridge. Contact Dale for more information.
